Hobby Show was founded and is continuously developing to become an important meeting place for the world of professionals of the handicraft sector, enthusiasts and specialized press. The protagonists of the event are therefore the leading companies of the sector: retailers, shops, teachers and experts of the most diverse decorative techniques, as well as, of course, the growing world of creative hobbies. Since 2003, the year of its first edition, the event has continuously had growing numbers of exhibitors, becoming the leading event of the sector in the national fair panorama.

The Hobby Show's labs and workshops are set up by experts to give guidance on new products and techniques, while Runer Arte & Hobby runs a special fun programme to stimulate children's creativity.

The main aim is to create a dynamic exhibition that brings together and supports in the correct way the Italian world of manual creativity. The purpose of the organization is therefore that of continuing to map and collect the new stimuli ideas from the world of manual creativity and DIY, up to the complete – 360° – coverage of creative hobbies.

Decoupage, scrapbooking, biedermeier, rock painting, bijoux, cross stitch, half-stitch, filet, patchwork e quilting, painting on fabric and silk, pottery/ceramics, engraving, glassworking, are just some of the ideas presented to the public during the three days of the fair.
